Relationship Between Mean Vancomycin Trough Concentration and Mortality in Critically Ill Patients: A Multicenter

Mean vancomycin trough concentration (VTC) did not reduce mortality in critically ill patients. Higher VTC levels were associated with increased ICU and hospital deaths, suggesting VTC monitoring may not ensure vancomycin effectiveness.
