    Summary

    Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) treponemal tests, including the CSF-FTA test, show limited diagnostic value for neurosyphilis. Further clinical data is needed to interpret reactive CSF-FTA results accurately.

    Background:

    • To evaluate the diagnostic utility of CSF microhemagglutination test for *Treponema pallidum* (CSF-MHA-TP) and CSF-FTA tests in neurosyphilis.

    • Testing involved CSF-MHA-TP and CSF-FTA assays using various CSF dilutions.
