[Microassay of serum iron by induced plasma emission spectrometry]

The authors describe a new micromethod for iron quantification in serum by ICPAES. Because the high temperature of quantification, the results are not affected by the iron chelating drugs used for the treatment of major thalassaemia (desferrioxamine).
