    Background:

    • Prostatic adenoma is a common condition requiring surgical intervention.
    • Postoperative urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a significant complication.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy of four different prophylactic antibacterial drugs in preventing UTIs after surgery for prostatic adenoma.
    • To compare the effectiveness of Nitrofurantoin, Mandelamine, Biseptol, and Chlorocid.

    • A study involving 75 patients with prostatic adenoma and sterile urine cultures.
