Summary

Combat medics using a novel ultrasound device performed Extended Focused Assessment with Ultrasonography in Trauma (eFAST) scans with similar speed, accuracy, and technical skill compared to a conventional device. The new device offered improved image quality, though the conventional transducer was preferred.
