The high impulse, palm lift technique for chest compression: Prospective, experimental, pilot study

A new high impulse and palm lifting (HIPL) technique significantly improved cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) quality, as indicated by higher end-tidal CO2 (EtCO2) levels compared to classic high quality chest compression (HQCC). This CPR modification shows promise for enhancing circulation during cardiac arrest events.
