Abstract:
Anatomically, the indications of ambulatory phlebectomy (A.P.) concern the entire varicose network of the lower extremities. The presence of a complication in the course of varicose veins disease (ulcer, hypodermatitis, or post-phlebitic varices) is not a contra-indication to A.P. The aims are: complete eradication of the varices, stability of the long-term result, harmless nature of the treatment and the aesthetic quality of the result.
