Association between the circulating superoxide dismutase and obstructive sleep apnea: a meta-analysis

Patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) have lower superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels, indicating increased oxidative stress. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment did not significantly alter SOD levels in the short term.
