Liver transplantation in malignant disease

Summary

Liver transplantation is increasingly used for primary liver cancers like hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and selected other malignancies. Evidence supports its use for perihilar cholangiocarcinoma and neuroendocrine liver metastases, expanding transplant oncology applications.
