Long term mortality and readmissions after transcatheter aortic valve replacement

Non-cardiac readmissions are more common than cardiac after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Readmission risk and mortality are highest immediately post-procedure, especially for intensive care unit (ICU) admissions.
