Kleptomania Induced by Venlafaxine

Antidepressant venlafaxine, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, may induce kleptomania. Reducing the venlafaxine dosage resolved the stealing behavior in a patient, suggesting a link between this medication and impulse control disorders.
