Guidance Level for Brevetoxins in French Shellfish

Brevetoxins (BTXs), marine biotoxins causing neurotoxic shellfish poisoning (NSP), were detected in French mussels. A guidance level of 180 µg/kg was proposed to prevent health risks from contaminated shellfish consumption.
