Bilateral patent nasopalatine ducts. A new method of treatment

A case of bilateral patent nasopalatine ducts, a rare congenital anomaly, has been described. A review of the literature does not permit dogmatic conclusions about the development and existence of patent nasopalatine ducts in both prenatal and postnatal life. A new, simple method of closing epithelium lined fistulae by instillation of alcoholic prolamin-acid solution is presented.
