|April 1, 1986
Abstract:
Angiolipoma is a common tumor that is usually found on the trunk and extremities. On rare occasions, this tumor will occur in the maxillofacial region. A case in which an angiolipoma occurred on the palate of an 8-year-old girl is presented. There are two different types of angiolipoma--an infiltrating and a noninfiltrating type. Both of these types and their treatment are discussed.
