Summary

RLS-0071 peptide shows promise in protecting infant brains from hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) damage. This study found RLS-0071, especially with hypothermia, reduced brain injury and improved neurocognitive outcomes in a rat model of HIE.
