Clear cell differentiation in an ameloblastoma

A multilocular ameloblastoma is described in which, in addition to histologically typical ameloblastomatous structures, clear cell differentiation was found. We concluded that in the differential diagnosis of a jaw tumour in which clear cells are seen, in addition to a muco-epidermoid carcinoma and a metastatic deposit, the clear cell type of ameloblastoma should also be considered.
