Frontal lobe dysfunction is associated with reduced DAT-SPECT accumulation in Lewy body disease

Olfactory and cognitive deficits in Lewy body disease (LBD) correlate with striatal and frontal lobe dysfunction, but only after cerebral blood flow (CBF) declines. Olfactory impairment appears earliest in LBD progression.
