[Class I alloantigens in alopecia areata]

HLA-ABC antigens in 51 patients suffering from alopecia areata have been analyzed by means of 47 different antigens using the microlymphocytotoxicity test. In comparison with various control populations, there could not be proved any significant association in the tested antigens. Thus we suggest that the reported associations may have been caused by geographical or racial variations.
