    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA) utility in vitreoretinal interface diseases.
    • To evaluate changes in the macular capillary network before and after idiopathic macular hole surgery.
    • To correlate surgical outcomes with OCTA findings.

    Main Methods:

    • Prospective study of 8 patients undergoing idiopathic macular hole surgery.
    • Pre- and post-operative assessments included best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), SD OCT, and OCTA.
    • OCTA was used to quantify foveal avascular zone (FAZ) area and vascular density (VD).

    • Successful primary closure of idiopathic macular holes in all cases.

    • Mean VD showed a non-significant increase (7.93 mm⁻¹ to 8.38 mm⁻¹, p=0.2959).

    Conclusions:

    • OCTA provides valuable insights into macular capillary network changes in vitreoretinal diseases.
    • Successful IMD surgery leads to a significant reduction in FAZ.
    • Observed correlation between BCVA improvement and FAZ area reduction.
