Evaluation of thrombin generation assay in factor XI deficiency

Factor XI (FXI) deficiency shows poor correlation between plasma levels and bleeding. Thrombin generation assay (TGA) results were not significantly different in patients with FXI deficiency and bleeding, suggesting TGA may not reliably assess bleeding risk.
