Saudi Arabian dentistry: a factual and conceptual view

The dental health system of Saudi Arabia is discussed. Despite greater than average resources, crucial decisions are required to develop an effective dental health system. The development of dental policy may be benefited by modifying the curative-treatment model of care to one that is preventive-behavioralist oriented.
