    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess the relationship between radiographic evidence of dental caries and the timing of restorative intervention in permanent teeth among general dentists.
    • To compare caries penetration scores in different age groups and evaluate dentists' approaches to potential caries reversals.

    • A retrospective study analyzed 7,338 bitewing radiographs from 387 patients over 10 years.
    • Six faculty members independently assessed radiographs for caries and restorations on non-restored proximal surfaces.
