[Malignant bone tumors--definition, epidemiology, symptoms and diagnosis]

An account is given in this paper of incidence and distribution of malignant bone tumours. Reference is made to possible diagnostic approaches, including native X-ray, skeleton scintigraphy, angiography, and computed tomography. Recommendations are, finally, given for diagnostic approaches to suspicious cases of malignant bone tumours.
