Occipital spurs on lateral cephalometric radiographs: morphologic and morphometric features

Occipital spurs are common anatomical findings on lateral cephalometric radiographs, with type varying significantly by sex but not by age. Ossification of the ligamentum nuchae (ONL) was rarely detected and unrelated to spurs.
