Role of ACE Polymorphism in Acute Ischemic Stroke

The DD genotype of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) polymorphism is strongly linked to an increased risk of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). This genetic factor may play a significant role in stroke development, particularly in the Indian population.
