PACAP-PAC1 Signaling Regulates Serotonin 2A Receptor Internalization

Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) signaling reduces serotonin 5-HT2A receptor activity by promoting receptor internalization. This finding may explain the effects of antipsychotics on PACAP-deficient mice.
