Sudomotor dysfunction in patients with gluten neuropathy

Gluten neuropathy (GN) affects sudomotor function in two-thirds of patients, impacting sweat gland innervation. Pain levels did not correlate with this dysfunction, suggesting varied small fiber damage patterns in GN.

- The dissociation between pain and sudomotor dysfunction indicates diverse small fiber involvement in GN.
