Summary

This study quantifies athlete manoeuvrability using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data, finding that higher running speeds compromise agility in field sports like Australian Football League (AFL) and National Rugby League (NRL). NRL athletes showed a faster reduction in manoeuvrability as speed increased compared to AFL athletes.
