Summary

This study compares two orientation algorithms, expansion maximization compression (EMC) and correlation maximization (CM), for single-particle imaging (SPI) using simulated X-ray free-electron laser (XFEL) data. Results reveal which method is more efficient and accurate for reconstructing biological molecule structures.
