Summary

Transperineal (TP) prostate biopsy, using local anesthetic, offers safer and more effective cancer diagnosis than traditional transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) biopsy. This method improves sampling and reduces sepsis risk, transforming outpatient prostate cancer diagnostics.
