Patients with metal hypersensitivity can benefit from titanium (Ti) alloy temporomandibular joint total joint prostheses (TJP). This study found titanium TJPs improved outcomes for patients with cobalt-chromium-molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloy hypersensitivity, comparable to standard prostheses.
