Biocontrol of Carrot Disease-Causing Pathogens Using Essential Oils

Essential oils from two oregano varieties effectively inhibited fungal growth in carrots. Higher concentrations of Origanum vulgare subsp. vulgare and Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum essential oils showed the best results against Alternaria spp.
