Disrupted cognitive development following pediatric acquired demyelinating syndromes: a longitudinal study

Even a single acquired demyelinating syndrome (ADS) event can negatively impact children's cognitive function and brain volume. Cognitive deficits and reduced brain volume were observed within two years post-ADS, regardless of chronicity.
