Is botulinum toxin a cause or a cure for headaches?

Cosmetic botulinum toxin (Botox) injections can cause headaches in over 10% of patients, typically appearing within 24 hours and resolving within 3 days. Hypertension and "bunny line" treatments are associated with a higher incidence of these headaches.
