Corneal Asphericity and Higher-Order Aberrations after FS-LASIK and Trans-PRK for Myopia

Both femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) and transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (Trans-PRK) alter corneal shape and increase higher-order aberrations (HOAs). Trans-PRK with Smart Pulse Technology (SPT) results in less vertical coma compared to FS-LASIK.
