  • Quantitative survey administered to 189 incarcerated men in Ontario, Canada.
  • Qualitative open-ended questions exploring histories of NSEs.
  • Utilized both behavioral questionnaires and self-reported incidents.

  • 44.2% experienced NSEs before age 18; 41.7% experienced NSEs as adults (quantitative).
