    • Peripheral blood leukocytes from psoriatic patients showed enhanced functions, and their sera contained leukocyte-activating substances like anaphylatoxins.

    Conclusions:

    • Psoriatic lesions contain unique chemotactic factors, notably PLF, which potently activate neutrophils.
    • Enhanced leukocyte function and the presence of activating substances in psoriatic patients' sera contribute to the disease pathology.
    • Further research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms of leukocyte chemotaxis and immunoregulatory pathways in psoriasis.
