Two nor-diterpenes from the Antarctic sponge Dendrilla antarctica show potent antifouling activity. These natural compounds, 9,11-dihydrogracilin A and 9,11-dihydrogracillinone A, offer a promising eco-friendly alternative to synthetic antifoulants.
