Summary

Hypnosis offers a safe and cost-effective addition to integrative treatment for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). This case study highlights its efficacy in managing chronic pain in a teenager with CRPS.

Background:

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a chronic, disabling condition characterized by disproportionate pain following extremity trauma.
CRPS presents with autonomic disturbances and trophic changes, posing diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
Limited randomized controlled trials exist, and definitive treatments are still evolving.

Purpose of the Study:

To illustrate the safe, cost-effective, and efficacious use of hypnosis.
