Vitamin D Deficiency and Outcomes After Ankle Fusion: A Short Report

Vitamin D deficiency may increase the risk of reoperation for nonunion after ankle fusion surgery. This study found a higher rate of nonunion reoperations in patients with low vitamin D levels.
