Summary

This study found that tenoxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, did not significantly alter furosemide excretion or vital signs in patients with heart insufficiency. However, tenoxicam did significantly reduce prostaglandin E2 levels, indicating a direct effect on renal prostaglandin synthesis.
