Capsaicin ameliorate the nephrotoxicity induced by methotrexate

Capsaicin, derived from chili peppers, protects against kidney damage caused by methotrexate (MTX) treatment. This study shows capsaicin’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties prevent MTX-induced nephrotoxicity in rats.
