Summary

Postmenopausal women experience poorer hearing thresholds and reduced otoacoustic emission (OAE) amplitudes compared to controls. Surgical menopause is associated with more significant hearing loss than natural menopause, indicating menopause as a potential hearing loss risk factor.

Purpose of the Study:
