Abstract:
Tumor involvement of the heart is often found in post-mortem examination of patients who died of widespread malignancy. Recently, we saw four patients who had intense gallium uptake in the region of the heart. All of them had some cardiac symptoms and abnormal physical findings. Tumor was found in the pericardium and myocardium in all three patients who received necropsy.
