Background:

Increasing use of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (RTSA) and stemless anatomic total shoulder replacement in the US.
Stemless humeral components in RTSA are under investigational device exceptions with limited data.

Purpose of the Study:

To systematically review clinical and functional outcomes of stemless reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
To assess complications, radiographic results, and outcome scores associated with stemless RTSA.

Main Methods:

Systematic review following PRISMA guidelines.
Searched MEDLINE/PubMed, Cochrane, and Embase databases (November 25, 2020).
Two independent evaluators reviewed articles; conflicts resolved by consensus or senior author.

Main Results:

Evaluated 10 studies (430 patients, 437 procedures) using TESS or Verso implants.
Mean age 73.8 years; mean follow-up 6.4-101.6 months.
Overall trend of improved outcomes, 0.2% humeral loosening, 11.2% complication rate.

Stemless reverse total shoulder arthroplasty demonstrates promising clinical and functional outcomes.
