Flavonoid intakes inversely associate with COPD in smokers

Higher dietary flavonoid intake is linked to a reduced risk of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), particularly in smokers. While beneficial, this dietary approach should complement, not replace, smoking cessation efforts for optimal lung health.
