  • Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition affecting 2-3% of the global population.
  • Granulysin (GNLY), a cytolytic antimicrobial peptide, is released by natural killer (NK) cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs).
  • Increased GNLY expression is observed in psoriasis lesions.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the potential role of GNLY gene polymorphism in psoriasis pathogenesis.
  • To explore the association between specific GNLY gene variants and disease severity.
