Delamanid or pretomanid? A Solomonic judgement!

Novel nitroimidazole drugs delamanid and pretomanid show distinct resistance profiles and comparable preclinical efficacy. Delamanid may offer advantages in reducing Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacterial load at lower concentrations.
