Summary

Long-term outcomes for Lisfranc injuries show satisfactory results. Patient-reported data using PROMIS Physical Function (PROMIS-PF) and VAS-foot and ankle (VAS-FA) scores indicate positive recovery after surgical treatment.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate long-term patient-reported outcomes following surgical treatment of acute Lisfranc injuries.
  • To utilize PROMIS Physical Function (PROMIS-PF) and VAS-foot and ankle (VAS-FA) for outcome assessment.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective cohort study of patients undergoing surgical treatment for Lisfranc injury (2005-2014).
  • 19 patients were recruited for follow-up, including physical examination, pain/medication questionnaires, radiographs, and outcome surveys.
  • Utilized PROMIS-PF and VAS-FA for long-term outcome evaluation.

Main Results:

  • The study included 19 patients (14 female, 5 male) with a mean follow-up of 6.25 years post-injury.
