Computed tomography of end-stage renal transplant rejection
Abstract:
The late computed tomography appearance of a case of acute, irreversible renal transplant rejection demonstrated replacement of normal renal architecture by homogeneous low-density tissue surrounded by a rim of increased attenuation, mimicking abscess or neoplasm. Calcification was not found in the kidney, as in the only previously reported case of long-term renal transplant rejection.
